On November 16, 2024, the finals of the 2024 Yangtze River Delta Campus Student “Minecraft” Creative Challenge, organized by the Shanghai Science, Technology, and Arts Education Center and co-hosted by the Shanghai Campus E-sports Association and the Physical Education Department of Tongji University, were held at Tongji University.

The work “Never Forget the Original Aspiration · Soaring to New Heights” by our club's “Dream-Building Team” is set against the backdrop of China's aerospace achievements, with the goal of promoting the spirit of Chinese scientific research. Relying on the Minecraft platform, the team spent one month meticulously creating and recreating the “Long March 5B Carrier Rocket” by referencing actual images, models, and related textual materials of the rocket.


For this competition, a total of 145 entries were received from students at 45 universities and vocational schools across the Yangtze River Delta region. After preliminary and secondary reviews by expert judges, 12 works were shortlisted for the final round.

Ultimately, based on scoring by on-site experts and leaders from various fields, the work “Never Forget the Original Aspiration · Soaring to New Heights” won the Excellence Award in the “Strengthening the Nation Through Science and Technology” category.
